Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of attending an amazing event put on by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. For this holiday shopping season, St. Jude's has partnered with major brands and retailers to bring the public a special and specific curated selection of amazing items and products.

 Some of the partnering brands are K-Mart, Kay Jewelers, West Elm, Ann Taylor,  and HomeGoods to name a few. I was so impressed how they all came together to provide awesome gifts for the holiday season, simultaneously enabling individuals to give back to such a good cause and an extremely important organization that helps thousands of families year after year. 

One product that really stood out to me was designed by Tumi where they took the hand painted artwork from the children and created a makeup bag from their drawings, absolutely amazing! 

Other items range in specific jewelry charms, an Eco-conscious green energy saving light-bulb, large keepsake candle votives engraved with a poem from the great late Maya Angelou, plushy stuffed animals, celebrity created tree ornaments from Stella McCartney collection or the actual drawings from the children designed into these beautiful large tree ornaments. 

It's stories like this that fill my heart and make want to do more. When I see the St. Jude commercials, they definitely are touching and I always cry but it pales in comparison when you see it live and in person, and having the opportunity to meet and witness a success story is priceless...... St. Jude children's research hospital makes it so easy to give this holiday shopping season when you purchase 60% of proceeds goes back to the hospital to continue supporting and helping families in need. The hospital covers the entire cost of medical care, families do not see a bill. One could easily be a part of this awesome fundraising effort by simply shopping for great items!
