Mama Care Monday's: At Home Waxing For Busy Mamas
9:00:00 AM
"Who wears short shorts, we wear short shorts!" is what I used to hear all the time being played on tv, the infamous Nair commercials for their hair removal products. Throughout the years I have tried a multitude of at home, DIY, self-maintenance waxing products, trying to save a pretty penny, and though some have worked, a lot were just gimmicks that had attractive packaging with a whole lot of promise and very little action. So to my surprise, when I came across Nair's roll on clay wax hair removal, I was astonished not only by how well it worked but it definitely passed the test of being an affordable, good, and (most importantly) relatively easy at home product to use for self-care and maintenance.
Being a mom, I rarely have a moment to myself, let alone scheduled inconsistent grooming so when the opportunity arises, I absolutely take my "mommy moments" however, let's be honest......with my busy work and life schedule, it doesn't always happen. So when I need something in a pinch and/or have a few minutes to spare, I really like this product. Trust I still go to the professionals for the big waxing jobs and upkeep areas, (mainly down under) but for the pits and the legs which tend to go unnoticed and right when you have to go somewhere or summer rolls around and the hair is so long on your legs you can braid it, this roll-on wax gets the job done for $8.99... you can't beat that! When I do my DIY spa day Sunday's, this falls right in line. *bonus!* it smells great, natural, and non-harmful. It comes in honey or clay which is the one I like the best. Here is a video tutorial from Nair so you can see how it works:
Whether you have 1 min, 1 hour, or 1 sec, always make time for you. Remember mamas, invest in yourself so that you may continue to invest in others. Until next Monday......
